General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
1. Booking / conclusion of contract
With a confirmed booking, a binding booking contract is concluded between the customer and Kunstwolke, which is regulated by these terms and conditions. The booking obliges the customer to pay the course fee. Not paying the course fee does not count as a cancellation.
The course fee includes:
Use of the studio and its infrastructure
The possibility to store your own painting utensils after use
Hand disinfection, soap, brush cleaner, household paper
Not included in the course fee:
Paints, brushes, canvases, etc. (a list of materials will be provided if required)
2. Cancellation of a confirmed booking by the customer
Every registration is binding. The date of cancellation is the day on which the customer's written cancellation of participation is received by Kunstwolke.
2.1 Cancellation of course / workshop
If the customer cancels their booking, Kunstwolke charges the following cancellation fees as a percentage of the course fee:
- 10% if you cancel up to 14 days before the workshop
50% for cancellations between 7 and 13 days before the workshop
100% if canceled less than 7 days before the workshop It is possible to pass the booking on to another person (organization by customers).
2.2 Cancellation of painting group meetings / open studio hours
0% for cancellation up to 48 hours before the start of the course
100% if canceled 48 - 0 hours before the start of the course
2.3 Events (exhibitions, aperitifs, artist meetings)
Participation can be canceled at any time.
Instead of a cancellation, unattended course or workshop hours can be made up at the painting group meetings. Twice as many painting sessions as missed course hours can be attended. Appointments for the painting group meetings can be arranged by email (firstname.lastname@example.org).
3. Cancellation / change by Kunstwolke
Kunstwolke reserves the right to cancel courses(e.g. due to too few participants, etc.). In such cases, course fee are fully and unconditionally reimbursed. With mutual consent, a refund can be waived, the course can be rescheduled or courses can be merged.
4. Kunstwolke studio rules
The studio is a non-smoking area. It is forbidden to use candles, inflammable materials (e.g. linseed oil) and materials that are harmful to health in the studio.After use, the clientele must vacate the workplace and leave it clean. The wet pictures can be hung to dry in the designated places on the walls. Painting utensils can be stored in the designated place in a rack until the next use.
Kunstwolke excludes any liability for damage incurred for all offers/courses it organizes. Customers are therefore responsible for adequate insurance coverage themselves. Use of the open studio is at your own risk. Kunstwolke cannot be held liable for theft or loss of items.
6. Data protection
Personal data, which are necessary for the conclusion of the contract, are recorded by Kunstwolke. These are not processed further without the consent of the customers. The data will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary. This applies to payment processing and the external providers / course instructors.
7. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
The relationship between Kunstwolke and the clientele is subject exclusively to Swiss law. The place of jurisdiction is Uster.
